Art Postcard - Life

Created for the Sunday Postcard Art Challenge where the theme is "Newspaper", and also filmed for You Tube.  Since I don't buy newspapers, I used a commercially produced scrapbook paper with a vintage newsprint design.  This was torn up and added as part of the background.

Archival Inks: French Ultramarine, Potting Soil

  6. As always your beautiful layering and artful techniques become beautiful pieces of art :) Collage is my absolute favorite art form; sometimes I get a bit down because I'm not better at it but when I watch you create a piece, somehow, in some magical way, hope bubbles up once more and you inspire me to keep trying. Thanks Rachel, just for being you xoxo

  12. Just found your work and really enjoyed watching you create a piece. Thank you for shareing your talent with the rest of us. As the others say what an inspiration. One question - on the You Tube video for this postcard it looked like some kind of bulb to spray the shinny finish. What is the instrument and what is the fine grained glitter? Thanks
