Created for the
Sunday Postcard Art Challenge where the theme is all things masculine. I'm not sure how well this represents masculine, but it's not pink and there's no flowers! lol. I decided to use dark purples when I came across a time themed digital collage sheet (when rumaging through my stash for ideas). I kind of think of pocket watches and clocks as more masculine items, so that's what I ended up using.
Supplies:
Cardstock - Taffeta Smooth White
Golden Fluid Acrylics - Dioxazine Purple, Paynes Gray
Golden Gesso
Stencil - Studio Calico: Circle Graph
Old book Page - From Stash
Digital Collage sheet - Etsy
Stamps - Tim Holtz
Ink - Archival: grape
Posca paint pens - Purple, Black
a real eye-catcher, wonderful piece with so many layers and an adorable quote

ReplyDeleteI think it definitely has a masculine feel with the darker color scheme and the images you chose. Really like the gridwork-looking tunnel-y image and quote.

ReplyDeleteGreat depth in the background, and you can't go wrong with book text. I think it comes off as masculine. Very nice.
